Red Yama, crowned with skulls, grips the Wheel of Life in his hands, feet and jaws, his tiger-skin tail hanging below.
At the hub, a rooster, a snake and a pig stand for desire, anger and ignorance; a standing Buddha appears in each of the six realms of rebirth, and the outer rim shows the twelve links of dependent origination.
A white bodhisattva and a standing Buddha stand in the upper corners, two dragons curl among clouds below, and a wide border of dragons frames the whole.
