Eleven-headed, thousand-armed Chenrezig stands at the heart of this mandala palace, his many hands forming a white halo, with the gateways, walls and courts drawn in fine gold-coloured detail on a dark ground.
White Tara and Green Tara sit in large roundels in the upper corners, with a golden bodhisattva and a wrathful blue deity in flames below; smaller roundels with teachers and deities circle the mandala among flowers, and rows of deities and protectors run along the top and base.
