Shakyamuni Buddha sits on a high throne at the top, and rays of rainbow light stream from his heart to the thirty-four Buddhas of confession seated below in five rows of blue, white, gold, red and green.
Four more figures sit on lotuses in the sky around him, among them a blue Buddha holding a bowl at the upper right, with offering goddesses on clouds at either side.
The assembly sits against a sky that fades from blue to pale green, inside a red painted border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 55 × 75 cm (21.7 × 29.5 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
