Ganesh Thangka – 40×55 cm, Classic Grade
White Ganesh, the elephant-headed remover of obstacles, dances on a grey rat on a pink lotus, his four hands holding a mala, an axe, a sprig of leaves and a bowl of sweets, with a snake around his belly, framed by a turquoise halo and a gold-coloured aureole.
The painting is bright and simple: a blue sky fading to pale yellow, a few clouds, snow peaks and green hills, with an offering of jewels below.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 40 × 55 cm (15.7 × 21.7 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
