Jambhala Thangka – 62×92 cm, Fine Grade
Yellow Jambhala, the wealth deity, sits on a lotus holding a jewel-spitting mongoose in his left hand and a citron in his right, his right foot resting on a conch, a garland of flowers across his chest, framed by a pink-rimmed green halo and a gold-coloured aureole among peonies.
Clouds rise behind the halo, a gnarled tree and snow peaks frame the sides, and below, an offering of jewels and auspicious objects rests above a river winding through green hills.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 62 × 92 cm (24.4 × 36.2 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
