Yellow Vaishravana rides a white snow lion with a grey mane, holding the staff of a victory banner in his right hand and a mongoose spitting jewels in his left, wearing a jewelled crown and turquoise silk scarves, framed by a halo of gold-coloured line work on teal and an orange aureole.
Red Amitayus holding a long-life vase sits at the top, with Shakyamuni Buddha among blue clouds at the upper left and the blue Medicine Buddha among maroon clouds at the upper right; a yellow and a blue figure, each holding a staff, stand on lotuses in the lower corners.
The ground is black, with teal hills and peaks drawn in gold-coloured line work, peonies, blue waves and a gold-coloured jewel on a lotus at the bottom centre.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 52 × 67 cm (20.5 × 26.4 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
