Jambhala Thangka – 72×100 cm, Fine Grade · MH-4117

Yellow Jambhala, the wealth deity, sits on a white moon disc and a pink lotus, holding a fruit with green leaves in his right hand and a dark blue mongoose spitting jewels in his left, his right foot stepping down onto a white conch above blue petals.

An orange halo, an aureole of fine gold-coloured rays on a dark ground and an outer gold-coloured aureole set with red and blue jewels frame him, with a blue-winged garuda at the top and a four-armed red Jambhala and a green Jambhala, each embracing a consort, in the upper corners.

Below, White Jambhala raises a staff astride a green dragon on the left, and dark blue Black Jambhala stands on a prone figure in a ring of gold-coloured flames on the right.

Pink and blue clouds drift across an orange sky above green hills, waterfalls and pink peonies, with flaming jewels above a heap of round jewels, a conch, coral and tusks at the centre below, inside a maroon border.
