Jambhala Thangka – 69×99 cm, Fine Grade
Yellow Jambhala, the wealth deity, sits on a lotus holding a mongoose that spits jewels in his left hand and a citron in his right, his right foot resting on a conch, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole among peonies.
The five Buddhas sit in a row across the top; below, White Jambhala rides a dragon on the left and Black Jambhala stands in flames on the right, with an offering of jewels at the centre.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
