White Jambhala Thangka – 60×82 cm, Fine Grade
White Jambhala, the wealth deity, rides a green dragon on a bank of dark clouds, raising a trident-topped staff in his right hand and holding a jewel-spitting mongoose in his left, his white face fierce with three eyes, framed by flames.
A garuda spreads its wings at the top, a red and a green Jambhala sit in haloes in the upper corners, and below, Yellow Jambhala and Black Jambhala sit on either side of an offering of jewels in a landscape of hills and waterfalls.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
