About this thangka
Shipping & Return

Yellow Jambhala, the wealth deity, sits on a lotus holding a jewel-spitting mongoose and resting his foot on a conch, at the heart of a single palace, painted in colour against a dark ground beneath clouds and between blue rocks.

The palace, its four gateways and the rings around it are drawn entirely in gold-coloured line work on black, with touches of red and blue, and gold-coloured endless knots and scrolls fill the corners.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

Size: 55 × 58 cm (21.7 × 22.8 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
