Medicine Buddha Mandala Thangka – 55×55 cm, Fine Grade
Blue Medicine Buddha sits on a lotus at the heart of a single palace, holding a bowl, painted in gold-coloured line work on a dark ground with zigzag mountains on either side.
The palace and its gateways are worked in gold-coloured lattice with touches of red, blue and green, surrounded by rings of offering figures, Tibetan script and a feather-patterned gold-coloured rim, with gold-coloured flowers in the four black corners.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
