Lokeshwor Mandala Thangka – 121×162 cm, Collector Grade · MH-1007
Eleven-headed, thousand-armed Chenrezig stands at the heart of this mandala palace inside a ring of smaller figures, with the gateways, walls and courts drawn in fine gold-coloured detail on a dark ground.
Large roundels with Buddhas fill the four corners, smaller roundels with teachers and deities circle the mandala among flowers, and two rows of niches frame the whole: deities along the top and protectors along the base.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 121 × 162 cm (47.6 × 63.8 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
Also in this painting: Buddhas, teachers, deities, protectors
