Lokeshwor Mandala Thangka – 86×114 cm, Fine Grade
Four-armed Chenrezig sits at the centre of this mandala palace, surrounded by figures in an eight-petalled inner court, with the gateways and walls drawn in fine gold-coloured line work.
Deities on clouds fill the sky, with red Amitabha at the top and Green Tara among the others, and below, two scholars sit writing on either side of a many-armed white goddess on a lotus, in a landscape of green hills and rivers.

About Lokeshwor Mandala
A deity mandala with Lokeshwor, the eleven-headed, thousand-armed form of Chenrezig, at its heart, often surrounded by Buddhas, Taras and protectors. "Lokeshwor" is the Nepali name for Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion.
