Mahakala Thangka – 64×88 cm, Classic Grade · MH-10789
A close-up portrait of blue Mahakala in a bold contemporary style: his three-eyed face with bared fangs and a red beard, a five-skull crown and wild black hair fill the upper half of the painting.
He holds a skull cup and a curved knife at his chest, with a garland of severed heads, green snakes and a skull, set against a bright yellow ground with curling white clouds.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 64 × 88 cm (25.2 × 34.6 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
