At the centre, a gold-coloured Om sits in a swirl of red, blue and green on a white-dotted ground, inside a six-pointed star outlined in blue with a gold-coloured syllable in a black disc at each of its points, on a ground of gold-coloured dots.

A ring of red, blue and green petal patterns surrounds the star, and eight black roundels holding the eight auspicious symbols on red lotuses circle it among gold-coloured waves and small sun motifs, followed by a second ring of coloured petals, a black band of red and blue mantra syllables and a broad gold-coloured rim of swirling scrollwork.

Pink flowers with green leaves and scattered red and blue dots fill the four black corners, inside a thin blue border.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.

Size: 55 × 55 cm (21.7 × 21.7 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

About Mandala
