Blue Manjushri Thangka – 50×66 cm, Classic Grade
Blue Manjushri sits on a large coral lotus, holding the hilt of a dark sword upright in his right hand and the stem of a blue lotus in his left, wearing a jewelled crown and a white scarf, framed by a yellow halo and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels.
Orange and red peonies grow on either side against an olive-green and golden sky with golden clouds, and an offering of jewels and auspicious objects rests on the green hills below.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
