Manjushri sits on a lotus raising his flaming sword, with a lotus bearing a book at his left shoulder, framed by an orange halo and a gold-coloured aureole among peonies.

Four other forms of Manjushri surround him: a dark blue and a white form in the upper corners, a form riding a white lion at the lower left and a red form at the lower right, with an offering of fruit at the centre.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

Size: 72 × 100 cm (28.3 × 39.4 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.

Also in this painting: Four forms of Manjushri, including one on a white lion
