Manjushri Thangka – 53×67 cm, Classic Grade
Golden Manjushri sits on a large pink lotus raising his flaming sword in his right hand, with a blue lotus bearing a book at his left shoulder, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole among pink lotus buds and peonies.
Gold-coloured scrolling patterns fill the four corners against a sky shading from dark to pale golden yellow, and an offering of jewels with a conch rests on the green ground below.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
