Sri Yantra Mandala Thangka – 56×56 cm, Fine Grade
At the centre, nested orange-red and cream triangles interlock in a Sri Yantra-style star around a small red triangle, on a blue disc edged with a scalloped ring of yellow and dark green.
An eight-petalled orange lotus surrounds it, with the eight auspicious symbols drawn in white line work among white scrolls and flowers on its petals, inside rings of white Tibetan mantra script, divided by bands of small orange-red panels, on a ground that shades from teal to black.
A rim of white cloud scrolls edged in orange-red closes the circle, with pink and yellow-green flowers among grey and white leaves in the black corners, inside an orange border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 56 × 56 cm (22.0 × 22.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
About Sri Yantra Mandala
The Sri Yantra is a pattern of nine interlocking triangles around a central point, from the Hindu Shakta tradition. It is prized for its exact geometry, which painters construct line by line.
