Dragon Mantra Mandala Thangka – 49×68 cm, Master Grade · MH-2610
Rings of Tibetan mantra script, painted in gold-coloured line work, circle out from a white Om at the centre, set on a black disc with two bands of red.
Gold-coloured dragons with pink faces and white whiskers coil through swirling clouds above and below the circle, all on black. Signed by the artist at the lower right.
This painting is one of a small set painted to the same design; each is painted by hand, so details differ slightly from piece to piece. The photo shows this piece.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 49 × 68 cm (19.3 × 26.8 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
About Dragon Mantra Mandala
A mantra mandala framed by dragons coiling through clouds above and below the circle of script. Dragons, symbols of power and protection across East Asia and the Himalayas, make this a striking decorative piece.
