Shipping & Return

The blue Medicine Buddha sits on a pink and black lotus, his right hand reaching down over his knee with the palm turned out in the gesture of giving and his left holding a fluted bowl in his lap, his robe covered in fine gold-coloured patterns, framed by a dark halo with a gold-coloured rim and an aureole of gold-coloured scrollwork and rays.

Painted in the black-and-gold style, he sits beneath blue and black clouds, with six roundels of auspicious symbols and a pink lotus on gold-coloured leaves at the top and grey-pink peonies on either side.

Gold-coloured hills, blue waves and grey rocks fill the ground below, with a jewel on a pink lotus at the centre, inside a slate-blue border.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.

Size: 52 × 67 cm (20.5 × 26.4 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
