Padmasambhava, Guru Rinpoche, sits on a red lotus wearing his lotus hat, holding a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup in his left, with his staff in the crook of his arm, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole.

Teachers, a blue Buddha in union and a four-armed white deity sit among peonies and clouds above, two consorts sit on lotuses at his sides, and below, wrathful forms stand in flames on either side of seated figures in a landscape of green hills.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

Size: 60 × 82 cm (23.6 × 32.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
