Padmasambhava, Guru Rinpoche, sits on a pale blue lotus wearing his lotus hat, holding a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup in his left, with his staff in the crook of his arm, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole among peonies.

Clouds drift across a dark olive sky above, and below, a small stupa on a lotus and an offering of jewels rest on the water between two rocky banks.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

Size: 56 × 76 cm (22.0 × 29.9 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
