Palden Lhamo, the fierce protectress, rides side-saddle on a mule through a halo of flames, raising a club and holding a skull cup, painted in fine red and dark line work on a gold-coloured ground with touches of blue.

Four goddesses ride animals in the corners, two attendants walk beside the mule, and blue mountains and an offering of jewels fill the landscape.

Size: 60 × 83 cm (23.6 × 32.7 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
