Samantabhadra Bodhisattva Thangka – 56×81 cm, Fine Grade
Samantabhadra, the bodhisattva of practice, sits on a white elephant on a pink lotus inside a large oval, his robe and the dense peonies around him drawn in fine gold-coloured line work on black.
Four gold-coloured dragons and scrolling flowers fill the deep red border around the oval, with a garuda at the top.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 56 × 81 cm (22.0 × 31.9 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
