Shakyamuni Buddha sits on a red, blue and green lotus, his right hand touching the earth and his left holding a black alms bowl, his yellow body set against a dark ground covered in dense gold-coloured patterning of clouds, flowers and birds.

White Tara, red Amitayus and Green Tara sit in haloes across the top; below, his two disciples stand on lotuses in the lower corners holding staffs and alms bowls, with an offering bowl and a Dharma wheel beneath the throne, inside a dark red border.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
