Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka – 50×67 cm, Classic Grade
Shakyamuni Buddha sits on a pink lotus, his right hand touching the earth and his left holding a blue bowl, his robe patterned in gold-coloured line work, framed by a pink halo and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels.
His two disciples stand on either side below, holding staffs and bowls, with peonies, orange and blue clouds, snow peaks and rivers on a deep blue ground.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
