Vajradhara Thangka – 35×50 cm, Fine Grade
Blue Vajradhara sits on a lotus on a throne supported by two snow lions, his hands crossed at his heart, wearing a jewelled crown and green silk scarves, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels.
Peonies grow on either side against a deep brown sky with clouds and snow peaks, a river winds through green hills, and a dragon curls among clouds beneath an offering of jewels below the throne.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
