Blue Vajradhara sits on a lotus with his hands crossed at his heart holding a vajra and bell, wearing a jewelled crown and pale green silk scarves, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole of scrollwork.
The painting is calm and open: clouds drift across a blue-grey sky, rivers and snow peaks fill the distance, and an offering of jewels and auspicious objects is set on the green hill below.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
