Vajradhara Thangka – 53×67 cm, Classic Grade
Blue Vajradhara sits on a blue lotus with his arms crossed at his heart, holding a vajra, wearing a jewelled crown and robes patterned in gold-coloured line work, framed by a green halo with a pink rim and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels, against a red-orange ground of clouds, hills and blue peonies.
Red Amitabha sits at the top centre, with a crowned golden goddess on the left and white Saraswati playing her lute on the right; below, a golden bodhisattva sits on the left and a blue figure holding up a small vajra on the right, with an offering of jewels between them, inside a dark brown border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 53 × 67 cm (20.9 × 26.4 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
