Vajrakilaya Thangka – 62×88 cm, Fine Grade
Dark blue Vajrakilaya stands in a wide stance with three faces, white, blue and red, each with three eyes and crowned with skulls, his hair streaming up in gold-coloured waves, great dark wings spread behind his six arms, rolling a ritual dagger between his central hands while he embraces his pale blue consort, who raises a skull cup.
His outer hands hold vajras and other implements, an elephant skin and a human skin hang from his shoulders, and he treads on two figures lying on a yellow disc on a lotus, inside a great wall of orange and red flames.
Blue Samantabhadra in union with his white consort sits in a rayed roundel at the top between a crescent moon and a sun, among teal and blue clouds, and a wrathful mask with two offering bowls rests on the green hills below, between rivers, inside a red border.
