Vajrasattva with Consort Thangka – 56×83 cm, Master Grade
White Vajrasattva sits on a lotus in union with his white consort, holding a vajra and a bell behind her back while she raises ritual implements in both hands; both wear jewelled crowns and silk scarves, framed by a green halo with a red rim and a gold-coloured aureole, among peonies and flowering trees heavy with berries.
Shakyamuni and red Amitabha, each holding a black bowl, sit in the upper corners with Tsongkhapa between them; below, White Tara sits on the left, Yellow Jambhala with his mongoose at the centre and Green Tara on the right, among green hills, blue and green clouds and offerings of jewels, inside a red-brown border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 56 × 83 cm (22.0 × 32.7 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
