Red-brown Yama, three-eyed and crowned with skulls, holds the Wheel of Life in his hands, feet and jaws, a tiger skin hanging beneath him. At the hub, a rooster, a snake and a pig stand for desire, anger and ignorance; the six realms of rebirth fill the wheel, each with a standing Buddha, and the twelve links of dependent origination run around the rim.

A standing Buddha points from the upper right corner and a white bodhisattva stands at the upper left, with dragons, clouds and offerings in the landscape below, inside a wide painted border of dragons and clouds.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

Size: 67 × 94 cm (26.4 × 37.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
