White Tara sits in meditation on a broad peach lotus, her right hand resting on her knee in the gesture of giving and her left hand at her heart, holding the stem of a blue lotus that opens beside her shoulder.

She wears a jewelled crown and silk scarves, framed by a green halo and a gold-coloured aureole set with coloured jewels.

Pink peonies grow on either side and clouds drift across a dark sky; below, a river runs past green hills, with an offering of jewels and elephant tusks at the water's edge.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.

Size: 36 × 49 cm (14.2 × 19.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
