White Tara Thangka – 58×84 cm, Master Grade
White Tara sits on a lotus with her right hand at her knee in the gesture of giving and her left at her heart holding the stem of a blue lotus, with eyes on her forehead, palms and soles, framed by a green halo, a dark rayed body halo and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels.
Peonies bloom around her against a black sky of grey-violet clouds; a green dragon curls through the clouds at the upper right and a pink ribbon drifts at the upper left. White snow peaks rise on either side, and below, an offering bowl of jewels rests on a lotus among hills and water.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 58 × 84 cm (22.8 × 33.1 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
