White Tara sits on a lotus with eyes on her forehead, palms and soles, her right hand in the gesture of giving on her knee and her left at her heart holding the stem of a lotus, painted in the black-and-gold style with robes covered in fine gold-coloured flower patterns and an aureole of gold-coloured rays.
Shakyamuni Buddha, red Amitayus and the blue Medicine Buddha sit in a row among gold-coloured clouds above her; below sit a crowned red deity in meditation at the lower left and white, three-faced, eight-armed Namgyalma at the lower right, with a gold-coloured jewel on a lotus in a bowl between them.
Gold-coloured peaks, hills flecked with green and blue water fill the black ground, inside a dark red border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
