White Tara Thangka – 50×65 cm, Classic Grade
White Tara sits on a red lotus with eyes on her forehead, palms and soles, her right hand in the gesture of giving on her knee and her left at her heart holding the stem of a blue flower that opens at her shoulder, wearing a crown of blue and red flowers, green scarves and a pale blue sash.
A green halo, an aureole of gold-coloured rays and a gold-coloured outer aureole set with jewels frame her between red peonies, under a deep yellow sky of yellow clouds with a crescent moon and stars at the upper left and a sun at the upper right.
The lotus rises from blue water between green hills, with an offering bowl on either side and a flaming jewel, jewels and tusks below, inside a red border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 50 × 65 cm (19.7 × 25.6 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
