Vajrapani Thangka – 60×84 cm, Fine Grade
Vajrapani, wrathful and dark, stands in a lunging pose on a lotus base, raising a vajra in his right hand, a snake around his neck and a tiger skin at his waist, before a great halo of flames.
A red dragon curls through the clouds at the upper left, and gold-coloured flowers, clouds and hills fill the dark ground, all in fine gold-coloured line work.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 60 × 84 cm (23.6 × 33.1 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
