Yamantaka with Consort Thangka – 57×79 cm, Collector Grade
Yamantaka, the buffalo-headed conqueror of death, stands in union with his consort inside a great orange ring of flames, his many arms fanned out holding weapons and implements and his many legs trampling figures on a lotus base.
Above, a peaceful blue deity sits at the top centre between two many-armed meditation deities in union, set among clouds; below, three wrathful protectors stand in flames, two of them riding buffaloes.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 57 × 79 cm (22.4 × 31.1 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
