Acala Thangka – 37×51 cm, Fine Grade
Acala, the immovable protector, sits cross-legged on a rock in the Japanese style, holding an upright gold-coloured sword in his right hand and a rope in his left, his face fierce with one eye narrowed and fangs pointing up and down.
A tattoo-like dragon covers his arm and shoulder, his robe is patterned with small flowers, and pale flames rise behind him on a plain black ground.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 37 × 51 cm (14.6 × 20.1 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
