Yellow Jambhala Thangka – 51×66 cm, Classic Grade
Yellow Jambhala sits on a pink lotus holding a jewel-spitting mongoose in his left hand and a citron in his right, his right foot stepping down onto a blue conch; his golden body is painted in solid colour, and the rest is drawn in gold-coloured line work on black.
A pink peony blooms above his aureole and orange peonies at his sides, blue clouds fill the corners, and gold-coloured hills and trees rise below with an offering of jewels and tusks, inside a yellow border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 51 × 66 cm (20.1 × 26.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
