Yellow Jambhala Thangka – 49×68 cm, Classic Grade
Yellow Jambhala, the wealth deity, sits on a lotus holding a jewel-spitting mongoose in his left hand and a citron in his right, his right foot stepping down onto a conch, framed by a green halo, a blue rayed body halo and a gold-coloured aureole.
Pink peonies bloom on either side against a deep blue sky with blue clouds, and below, a river winds between green and orange hills to an offering at the bottom, inside a red border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 49 × 68 cm (19.3 × 26.8 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
