Buddha Mandala Thangka – 54×66 cm, Fine Grade
A seated Buddha sits at the centre of a great mandala circle crowded with Buddhas and bodhisattvas, with a smaller eight-petalled mandala holding a Buddha in each corner, painted in gold-coloured line work on deep blue with touches of orange.
Groups of Buddhas sit among clouds at the top, a temple with seated Buddhas stands at the bottom centre, and figures and deer fill the landscape at the sides.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 54 × 66 cm (21.3 × 26.0 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
Also in this painting: Buddhas, bodhisattvas
