A seated Buddha sits at the centre of a mandala palace inside a great circle of gold-coloured rings, its courts and gateways crowded with small deities and offering figures.

Thousand-armed Chenrezig stands in a temple at the top, Buddhas, teachers and deities fill the sky and landscape around the circle, and a row of wrathful protectors stands in flames along the bottom, inside a border of dragons and flowers.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.

Size: 68 × 87 cm (26.8 × 34.3 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →

In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.

Also in this painting: Thousand-armed Chenrezig, Buddhas, teachers, wrathful protectors
