Buddha Mandala Thangka – 88×91 cm, Master Grade
Five small mandalas, each holding a seated Buddha at its heart, are set in the shape of a cross inside a great circle of gold-coloured rings, surrounded by deities and offering figures.
Four more mandalas fill the corners, and the spaces between are crowded with Buddhas, teachers, palaces and peonies, with a row of wrathful protectors in flames along the bottom.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
