Chenrezig Thangka – 74×100 cm, Fine Grade
Four-armed Chenrezig sits on a pink lotus with his first pair of hands joined at his heart around a jewel, his upper right hand holding a white rosary and his upper left a blue flower, with a pink antelope skin over his left shoulder, framed by a red halo and a gold-coloured aureole patterned with red and blue swirl roundels.
Five Buddhas in blue, yellow, white, red and green sit on lotuses in a row along the top, against a red sky with blue and green clouds and pink peonies.
Manjushri sits at the lower left raising his sword, with a lotus at his left shoulder, and blue Vajrapani stands in flames at the lower right with a vajra raised in his right hand.
Between them, offerings of a round gold-coloured ornament, a pair of cymbals, coloured jewels and fruit rest on green hills, inside a blue border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 74 × 100 cm (29.1 × 39.4 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
