Four-armed Chenrezig sits on a peach-coloured lotus, two hands joined at his heart around a blue jewel, a crystal mala in his upper right hand and the stem of a blue flower in his upper left, with a spotted deerskin over his left shoulder, framed by a pale green halo with an orange rim and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels.

Five Buddhas in white, blue, red, yellow and green sit on lotuses among grey clouds above, and below, golden Manjushri raises his sword at the left and blue Vajrapani stands in flames at the right, with an offering of jewels and a flame between them.

Orange peonies and pink lotus buds surround him against snow peaks, green hills and a stream, under a dark sky with a crescent moon and stars at the upper left and a sun at the upper right, inside an ochre border.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.

Size: 59 × 84 cm (23.2 × 33.1 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
