Chenrezig Thangka – 54×68 cm, Classic Grade
Four-armed Chenrezig sits on a blue lotus, two hands joined at his heart around a blue jewel, a white mala in his upper right hand and a blue peony in his upper left, with a coral-red deerskin over his left shoulder, framed by a dark blue halo and an aureole of fine gold-coloured rays inside a band set with red and blue jewels.
Red Amitayus sits on a blue lotus among blue peonies at the top centre, with a golden Buddha holding a bowl at the upper left and a blue Buddha holding a bowl at the upper right; a golden figure and a blue figure stand on blue lotuses in the lower corners, with a dharma wheel and a jewel on a lotus stand below.
Blue clouds, gold-coloured peaks and green hills edged in gold-coloured line work fill the dark purple ground, inside an orange border.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.
Size: 54 × 68 cm (21.3 × 26.8 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
