White four-armed Chenrezig sits on a moon disc on a lotus, his first two hands joined at his heart around a pale blue jewel, his upper right hand holding a mala and his upper left the stem of a blue peony that opens beside his shoulder, wearing a jewelled crown with blue flowers and green silk scarves.

A pale gold halo and a gold-coloured aureole set with jewels frame him among red, pink, white and orange peonies and blue and green leaves, with pink, blue and white clouds above against a deep blue sky.

Green hills and brown rocks fill the ground below, with an offering of jewels and a flaming jewel at the centre, inside a blue border.

Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas.

Size: 53 × 67 cm (20.9 × 26.4 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
