Green Tara Thangka – 57×81 cm, Classic Grade
Green Tara sits on a lotus with her right foot stepping down, her right hand at her knee in the gesture of giving and her left raised at her heart, in front of a burst of golden rays and a halo of gold-coloured scrollwork.
The rest of the painting is worked in shades of blue and violet: peonies, leaves and clouds outlined in gold-coloured line work surround her on every side.
Hand-painted in Nepal on cotton canvas. Unmounted: it comes rolled, ready to frame or to have mounted.
Size: 57 × 81 cm (22.4 × 31.9 in), including the painted border. Hand-painted, so allow ±1–2 cm. Size guide →
In the box: the painting, rolled (never folded) in a strong tube.
